Today India celebrates the Jayanti of the world’s first architect as Vishwakarma Puja. It represents the value of skilled people & the value of equipment.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent greetings to the country on the celebration of Lord Vishwakarma Puja and said that the people will lead the nation to greater heights in eternity with their skills.
PM Modi posted a tweet & said,
“Best wishes to the countrymen on the occasion of Lord Vishwakarma Jayanti. On this occasion, my heartfelt greetings to the Karma yogis associated with all kinds of creative work along with Navnirman and Navsrjan. Your skill and duty are going to take the country to new heights in eternity.”
On the anniversary of Vishwakarma Jayanti, the Prime Minister will also speak to students at the first-ever commencement of ITI students. This initiative will enroll almost 40 lakh kids.
The world commemorates Lord Vishwakarma, who is regarded as the first architect in history, on his birthday, or Vishwakarma Jayanti.
Hindus place a significant deal of religious emphasis on Vishwakarma Jayanti.
Lord Vishwakarma is said to be Lord Brahma’s son in the Hindu scriptures. The Dwarka Nagri was made by Lord Vishwakarma, who also assisted Lord Brahma in creating the universe.
All of the Hindu Gods and Goddesses’ palaces, as well as their weaponry and modes of transportation, were made by Lord Vishwakarma.
In contrast to other Hindu holidays that have varying dates each year, Vishwakarma Puja is a notable Hindu celebration that is determined by the Hindu solar calendar.
In order to obtain Lord Vishwakarma’s blessings, technicians, skilled workers, architects, sculptors, carpenters, as well as engineers perform Vishwakarma puja in their workplaces.
Additionally, on this day, people worship their tools, machinery & equipment with gratitude.
