The next Valorant agent in line, Gekko, is gearing up for its much-awaited release with the upcoming Episode 6 Act II update. While the update is expected to introduce a number of new changes, the new agent – the game’s 22nd and sixth overall initiator – will potentially bring a whole new spectrum of possibilities to every Valorant match.

With the Tuesday update, Gekko will become a playable agent for those purchasing him. All the known abilities of the character so far include,
It expands after landing on the ground and later explodes after a minute delay.
It can be sent forward to get the first enemy he sees temporarily unconscious or confused, or even plant or defuse the spike with his alt-fire.
It charges at opponents and blinds anyone in its line of sight.
Gekko’s ultimate, Thrash will lunge at enemies and detain them.
These creature-based abilities make Gekko one of the most bizarre agents to play so far in Valorant. Thankfully, players will not have to wait long for his official launch.
