The meeting of G20 Foreign Ministers of QUAD countries has begun. UAE’s Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has also participated in the G-20 Summit.
The G20 Foreign Ministers meeting, which took place here on Thursday, was a resounding success, with the framework for action reflecting the concerns of developing nations and the global south and the G20 countries discussing other global issues of importance, such as terrorist attacks and reliable supply chains.
One of the biggest such events was the G20 Foreign Ministers’ conference in Delhi, which was hosted by the G20 presidency.
The summit was attended by 40 delegations in all, including 13 international organizations.
Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates were the nine guest nations that took part at the level of Foreign Ministers.
The UAE and India have a strong bilateral relationship based on mutual trust, understanding, and cooperation across various sectors.
This relationship has been further strengthened by the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed between both countries in 2019.
The CEPA has enabled increased economic ties between the two countries and opened up new opportunities for trade and investment.
In addition to the economic partnership, UAE and India also share strong cultural ties. Both countries have a rich history of cultural exchange that dates back centuries ago.
From music to cuisine to art, there is an immense potential for further collaboration in this area which can be explored through exchanges of ideas, people-to-people contact, and joint initiatives.
The strong bilateral relations between UAE and India across sectors are a testament to the commitment of both nations towards strengthening their partnership for mutual benefit.
The United Arab Emirates and India have a common vision for a clean and green energy future.
Both countries are committed to achieving their renewable energy and zero carbon goals through various initiatives, such as solar power projects, wind farms, and other renewable energy sources.
By working together, both countries can further accelerate the process of transitioning to clean energy sources and reduce their carbon emissions.
This is an important step in achieving sustainable development goals that will benefit both the UAE and India in the long run.
The G20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Delhi is going to be a historic event that will see the participation of representatives from the world’s leading economies.
