UAE and World Leaders Discuss Future Cooperation at BRICS Summit 2024

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan is in Kazan for the BRICS Summit 2024. This year BRICS summit is happening under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation. During the meeting of 22 to 24 Oct. 24 the President of UAE meet with several world leaders.

Though UAE is attending this meeting for the first time after joining the BRICS in year of 2023, but their ties, visions, ideology are reaching across the borders. This was visible when the UAE President landed in Russia. Ramzan Kadyrov the Chechen President received and greeted UAE President and Abu Dhabi Ruler Mohamed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. They were at the airport to receive the president of UAE.

Al Ain News reporter Saif al Dareei who were covering the event wrote; “We are not on protocol, we are his brother. This is what the Chechen President expressed when he met Mohammed bin Zayed”.

In the meeting, His Highness engaged in discussions with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt; His Excellency Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran; His Excellency Xi Jinping, President of China; His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa; His Excellency Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India; and His Excellency Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali, Prime Minister of Ethiopia.

UAE President engaged in the talk with Prime Minister of Egypt Abiy Ahmed. Abir said, that he had a good opportunity to reconnect and discuss bilateral and regional issues.

In the notable bilateral meetings there was a meeting between Indian PM Modi and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.  According to the Zee News, Prime Minister Modi gave a positive evaluation of the India-UAE Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. They said,,  “Glad to have met my brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to the Zawya, during the meetings UAE President discussed about the ways to enhances the cooperation with UAE in terms of trade, economy, development and more. These discussions were important to bloom the partnership between developing nations.

BRICS Summit is enhancing the multilateral cooperations to build a multipolar world and make a stable future for all. The BRICS is an economy exceeding $30 trillion by promoting green economies.
