2 Terrorists Down, Operation Continues In Machhal Kupwara

Two terrorists were killed by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. The place where this happened is the Machhal sector in the Kupwara district. The police said the encounter is still going on.

Earlier in the day, the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police worked together to stop terrorists from entering the area. 

This happened near the Line of Control, also in the Kupwara sector. The joint team was quick to act because they had special information about possible threats.

The encounter operation started because the police in Kupwara had special information about a possible threat. Before this, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police stopped terrorists from coming into the area near the Line of Control in Kupwara.

The Indian security forces had gunned down LeT terrorist group commander Uzair Khan last month (Sep 2023), along with two other terrorists in Anantnag, Kashmir.

Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said, “In a Joint Operation launched by the Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police & Intelligence agencies on 26th Oct, an infiltration bid has been foiled by alert troops along the LoC in Kupwara sector. Operations are in progress.”

The work of our security forces is truly commendable. They are always ready and alert to deal with dangers, especially near key areas like the Line of Control.
