Travelers To Enjoy Journey From UP’s Mau To Mumbai Via Train

A new direct express train is about to start running from Mau Junction in Uttar Pradesh to Mumbai. The virtual inauguration of this train is set for November 22, and it’s going to be done by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

Currently, there are eight trains that connect Mau Junction to Mumbai. These include trains like the Kashi Express, Godan Express, and a few festival special trains. But none of them offers a direct service like this new express train will.

This new train service is happening thanks to the efforts of State Power Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma, who asked the Union Railway Ministry to start it. The ministry, led by Ashwini Vaishnaw, agreed to this request and approved the weekly express train.

Now, let’s talk about the journey this train will take. It’s going to pass through several important stations in Uttar Pradesh. 

After leaving Mau, the train will stop at places like Muhammadabad, Azamgarh, Shahganj Junction, and Prayagraj Junction, among others. These stops are significant as they connect various parts of Uttar Pradesh, making travel easier for many people.

If you’re planning to travel on this train, here’s the schedule: 

  • The train will leave Mau Junction every Saturday night at 10:15 pm.
  • It will reach Mumbai on Monday morning at 3:34 am.
  • The return journey from Mumbai starts on Monday at 11:15 am from the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus.
  • Finally, the train will reach Mau Junction by Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm.

The journey covers important stations in Uttar Pradesh like Muhammadabad, Azamgarh, Shahganj Junction, and Prayagraj Junction. These places are rich in culture and history. For instance, Prayagraj, with its Triveni Sangam, is a must-visit for its spiritual significance.

In Mau, you can explore local markets and the Ghosi Purva waterfall. And in Mumbai, the city of dreams, you can visit the iconic Gateway of India, Marine Drive for a stunning sea view, Shree Mahalaxmi Temple, Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, and the historical Elephanta Caves.
