Top 10 IT companies in India

India has been known to give leading technology professionals, leaders and CEOs in the sector to world. Home to some magnificent brains, some of the leading global IT companies operate from India just because of the talent that this country offers.

According to NASSCOM Report, in year 2019 the IT export revenues from India grew by about 8.3 per cent to approximately $136 billion. Here we have compiled a list of top 10 IT companies in India based on total sales.

1. TCS – Tata Consultancy Service

TCS is the largest IT company in India based on revenues. The company offers IT services, consulting and business solutions, and has been partnering with some of the largest global businesses.

2. Infosys

Infosys was established in 1981 and at present has more than 228,000 employees. It is an NYSE listed IT services and global consulting company with market capitalization of about US$ 47.7 billion. It was also the first IT company from India to get listed on NASDAQ.

3. HCL Technologies

HCL Technologies is a leading IT company globally that transforms businesses through Digital Technology transformation. It provides services through key industry verticals like Financial Services, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Media, Publishing, Entertainment, Retail & CPG, Life Sciences & Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Energy & Utilities, Travel, Transportation & Logistics.

4. Wipro Limited

The company uses power of cognitive computing, hyper-automation, robotics, analytics and emerging technologies to help its clients gain success.

5. Redington India Ltd.

The company was established in 1993 and has since emerged from one brand and one market into a US$ 6.7 billion supply chain and distribution solutions provider.

6. Tech Mahindra Ltd.

The $9 billion company offers innovative and customer centric IT experiences, enabling the enterprises to rise. Part of the Mahindra Group, Tech Mahindra is the highest ranked Non-U.S. company in the Forbes Global Digital 100 list (2018) and in the Forbes Fab 50 companies in Asia (2018).

7. Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd

The IT arm of L&T (Larsen and Toubro) group, L&T Infotech Ltd was founded 20 years ago. It is a global technology consulting and digital solutions company with operations across 30 countries.

8. Mphasis Ltd

The customers of Mphasis Ltd include customers across the globe including six top banks, eleven out of fifteen top global mortgage lenders, and three top global insurance companies.

9. Mindtree Ltd

The global technology consulting and services company Mindtree is now L&T Group Company.

10. Hexaware Technologies Ltd

The fastest growing next generation provider of IT, consulting and BPO services, Hexaware has 33 global offices and over 18,000 employees.
