The UK Invests Invisible Mask Spray To Kill Covid-19 Virus

According to the University of Cambridge, if you could spray your mask with an anti-viral spray drug, there are chances you can kill the Covid-19 virus in less than an hour. In a new and innovative way of combatting the virus, scientists have found a way that a drug called DioX can actually kill the virus in less than an hour. 

With the use of the invisible shielding over your masks, you are looking a sure shot safety strategy that will kill not only the Covid-19 virus but also its variants that are different in the UK and distinct in South Africa. 

The mechanism is simple- rupture the outer membrane of the virus and destroy it. According to Dr. Graham Christie, senior lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge, “like other parts of the virus, the membrane remains the same regardless of any type of mutation. Hence, this way of attacking the pathogen will work on any new variant of coronavirus.”

Laboratory tests have proven that the mask coated with it can kill 95 percent of pathogens on its surface within one hour. Even after four hours, they remained undetectable.
