The UAE Sends Urgent Relief Aid To Pakistan To Deal Flood Crisis

As the flood crisis came into Pakistan, the UAE President immediately sent urgent relief to support Pakistan to deal with severe rains & floods.

Since mid-June, more than 1,000 people have died in Pakistan as a result of extensive flooding. Sherry Rehman is a top Pakistani climate official. He said, “Pakistan is experiencing a serious climate catastrophe, one of the hardest in the decade.”

While army and emergency crews moved stranded civilians to safety in relief camps and gave food supplies to thousands of displaced Pakistanis, flash floods caused by the torrential rains wiped away villages and crops.

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is experiencing severe rains and flooding that have caused fatalities, injuries, and displaced people.

The UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has directed the delivery of urgent emergency aid to the country.

In order to help the displaced people better meet their challenges, The President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has directed the supply of all humanitarian aid services to them.

The UAE has donated 3,000 tonnes of food supplies, tonnes of pharmaceutical and medical supplies, tents, and other shelter-related items.

The UAE relief teams will also offer all forms of humanitarian assistance to Pakistani institutions and cadres involved in efforts to ensure the safety of the impacted and their needs for logistical, medical, and food support.
