The UAE ‘Pilgrims Affairs Office’ Distributed 40,000 Meals To The Pilgrims In Madinah

The United Arab Emirates Pilgrims Affairs Office provided 40,000 meals to pilgrims in Madinah, in honor of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may he rest in peace.

In collaboration with the relevant authorities in the friendly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the office staff will continue to provide meals at the holy places.

Dr. Muhammad Matar Al Kaabi, the Chairman of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs & Endowments and Head of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office, affirmed that –

“Meals that are characterized by their nutritional content are conserved and provided under the monitoring of a specialized committee from the office, taking into mind that meals are delivered to pilgrims without difficulty through the technique of distributing meals.”

In the presence of the Director General of the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Muhammad Saeed Al Neyadi, Deputy Head of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office, as well as the Executive Director of Islamic Affairs, Assistant Vice President of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office for Awareness and Education, Al Kaabi presided over a meeting yesterday at the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office. 

Dr. Omar Habtoor Al-Dari and the proprietors of the Emirati businesses are running campaigns to assess the strategy and system for housing home-country pilgrims at the various holy sites and to coordinate the transportation and gathering of pilgrims via various modes of transportation.

The most crucial points for putting the plans in place regarding moving easily, safely, and offering comfort and happiness for the pilgrims during their execution of Hajj and during the mobility between the holy sites, as well as reviewing the procedure for entry of pilgrims, were covered by Al-Kaabi in his explanation of the pilgrims’ trip from their leaving to Mina on the day of Tarwiyah until the finalization of the rituals but also their return to the country.

Al Kaabi reaffirmed the desire of the UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office to establish the Hajj season a success with the help of the strong leadership and the efforts of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as in collaboration with campaign owners to achieve the goals of improving the service of state pilgrims and utilizing all resources to conduct their rituals with convenience and comfort, taking into account the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures.
