Telegram Launches No-SIM Signup Feature Using Blockchain Numbers

Telegram has introduced a feature called no-SIM sign. It will allow users to register by blockchain-based numbers instead of regular mobile numbers.

Telegram, a well-known messaging app, has launched an update that lets users sign up with anonymous numbers based on blockchain instead of mobile numbers.

For the pleasure of those who are concerned about privacy, Telegram will permit its users to hide their phone numbers from anyone instead of only those who aren’t registered with the service.

The instant chat feature has seen a rise in popularity among crypto-savvy users.

This update is part of the larger 9.2 upgrade that became available on December 6 and permitted users to set expiration dates on messages sent in new chats.

Fragment is a decentralized auction platform designed by Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram is a platform that will offer users access to the “blockchain-powered private numbers” they require to use the service.

It’s the truth that Fragment provides Telegram-exclusive user names as well as anonymous numbers for purchases. Telegram’s Open Network token is used to purchase in-app purchases.

The downside is that U.S. users are out of luck because Fragment is not currently providing service to those living in The United States.

After having a unique number, users can use it to receive an authorization code via an SMS message once they have logged into Telegram.

Durov announced on November 30, via the Telegram channel, that his company was working on a set of tools that are decentralized in response to the FTX incident that occurred earlier in the month.

Fragment offers users the possibility of buying random numbers anytime to 9 tonnes ($16) or to purchase and sell numbers using Auctions. Telegram seems to take advantage of this period to cement its place in the world of crypto.
