Tech giants to counter AI Deception in 2024 election

Recently, At the Munich Security Conference, 20 tech giants came together to form a “Tech Cord” alliance, aiming to combat the use of AI fraud in global elections by 2024. They focus on AI or special algorithms that will be used to combat false information. And what is changing the picture is this initiative that is neither politically biased nor designed to limit freedom of expression, and AI.

As we prepare for the  2024 elections in the world and in India also, there is growing concern that AI is being used for fraud. But there is good news: a bunch of big tech companies, concerned groups, and government people have come together to take action. It’s called a tech alliance to combat AI voter fraud.

What’s the problem?

In India, where millions of people vote, ensuring the  2024 election is fair is crucial. However, as AI becomes more powerful, there is another problem: AI propagates fake news and lies that can corrupt people’s choices.

Some of those problems are –

1.  The spread of deepfakes:  New AI tools make fake videos, audio, and images (deepfakes) look real, alter their appearance and behaviour, and mislead people.

2. Simplicity and Cost: Deep faking is inexpensive and easy on simple equipment, allowing many people to create misleading results.

3.  Misleading manipulation:  Deepfakes mislead viewers, suggest false actions or information, and spread misinformation.

4.  Election risks are increasing:  Deepfakes can mislead voters, use AI to impersonate politicians or create fake videos, affecting electoral fairness.

What “Tech Accord” will do?

The Tech Cord Agreement is a team effort. Their ultimate goal is to develop intelligent software to detect and prevent fake news during the   2024 elections. These systems use sophisticated technology to instantly detect whether something is fake or not. Also, the tech companies involved promise to be open about how their AI works, so everyone can check if it’s doing its job properly.

In addition to using cool tech, the deal seeks to teach people how to tell if something online is fake. They also believe that we need a law to ensure the proper use of AI in elections. This legislation should ensure everyone knows what is going on and that everyone’s voice matters.Tech Acord is a group of companies that will ensure the elimination of Ai Deception in 2024 Elections in India & all around the world.
The tech deal gives us hope as the  2024 election approaches. By working together, using smart technology, to ensure that everyone knows the truth, they are ensuring that our elections are fair and our democracy is strong.
