In the relatively recent past, the forest officers in Tamil Nadu rescued and rejoined an injured baby elephant with its mom. Shared footage of the officer taking the baby elephant to its mother went viral on social media. People commented that it was amazing to see that the elephant baby was so comfortable with the forest officers.
Presently, an image of the baby elephant hugging one of the forest officers is accumulating praises on Twitter.
IFS officer Parveen Kaswan shared the pic on Twitter, captioning, “Love has no language. A baby elephant is embracing a forest official. The team saved this calf and rejoined with his mom.”
Before the photograph, Sudha Ramen, a forest officer, shared a video on Twitter, where people could see a very comfortable elephant baby walking with ease along with the rescue team.”
“This little elephant baby joyfully walks towards his mom protected with Z+ security of the team of Tamil Nadu Forest officers,” tweeted Ramen while sharing the video.
The post has gained over 12,400 likes since it was shared. The video melted everyone’s hearts, and praises filled the comments section. There were various responses, from requesting more baby elephant videos to how the officers managed the rescue effort.
