Taiwan’s Struggles To Get Support Amidst China’s Military Threats

China always attempts to claim the Taiwan island but the self-governing island refutes its claims. Here is how the world is reacting to the situation!

However some consider it as a self-governing island. China always tries to claim Taiwan as its own part, but the truth is that Taiwan governs itself.

Taiwan recently detected 103 Chinese warplanes around its island within just 1 day, which were flying close to its territory. It means that China has again increased its military activities near the Taiwan border. The situation has increased tensions between the both countries.

There is an unofficial line that separates Taiwan from China. But China often sends its military planes close to that line, and sometimes even crosses that. China has done this again with its 103 Chinese warplanes, which Taiwan sees as a threat!

Taiwan has been consistently asking China to stop such military activities in or near their regions, but the situation has been getting worse.

The United Nations and other international bodies just watched the situation closely, but never took any strong actions.

The United States sees this situation as an opportunity and sells their weapons to Taiwan and calls it a support. The US knows that China doesn’t need to buy their weapons, thus they made Taiwan as one of their loyal customers.

China had recently issued a controversial standard map claiming the regions of several countries, including India. As a result, India slammed it at the international level. Other countries also followed the same.

But if we talk about Taiwan, the country knows that it can’t compete or fight with such a country like China. Thus it has to rely on the dependency of other countries.

Many believe that China should stop making these unethical attempts, as Taiwan governs itself as an independent nation. China’s military exercises violate Taiwan’s sovereignty, and harm the peaceful international relations.
