T20 World Cup: India Announces Squad for 2024
The World Cup 2024 will be held from June 1 to June 29 in the United States and West Indies. As we are getting closer to the dates, various cricket teams across the world are announcing their squads for the T20 World Cup 2024.
Most recently India announced their team squad. BCCI officially shared a detailed announcement on their official platforms.
India is ready to participate in T20 World Cup 2024 with captain Rohit Sharma.

There were no surprises in the selection of this squad. KL Rahul is one of the big names who is missing from the list. He was a part of last two T20 World Cup of 2021 and 2022.

Team India will play its first T20 World Cup match against Ireland on June 5. The venue is at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium in New York. After this match, their 2nd match is with Pakistan on June 9 at the same venue. They will also play against the US in New York and Canada in Florida.
According to the ICC, 55 matches will be played in 9 different cities of the US and the Caribbean. Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana will witness the grand finale of the T20 World Cup. The grand finale will take place in Barbados on June 29, 2024.
