Case filed against Saif Ali Khan: Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has outgrown the television news media as the actor’s relatives have been coming up to talk about the matter using their own personal space. As it has been six months to the incident, where Rajput was found hanging from a ceiling fan in his flat, his brother-in-law took to twitter to convey a message to his fans.
On Monday Vishal Kriti took to his social media where he addressed Rajput’s fans calling them ‘extended family’ and urged them to honor the late actor in their memories. Kirti wrote a series of tweets telling fans what the actor would have wanted to say.
“Six months have passed since Sushant’s passing. Stepping into his shoes, I’ll try imagining what @itsSSR would have asked of his extended family: To read more, to be more discerning, to educate yourselves in the nuances of interdisciplinary studies. Life is complicated & messy (sic),” said Kriti, husband of Shweta Singh Kriti.
He also assured Rajput’s fans by telling them that investigative agencies are doing their jobs and everyone ‘should focus on doing honourable things to commemorate Sushant’.
But despite the great loss to the film industry, Sushant Singh Rajput’s case was turned around, molded and manipulated for personal gains. One of the major reasons for it was the issues raised by another Hindi movie actress Kangana Ranaut. The actress, though raised some of the genuine concerns, she lost the plot with her derogatory comments and individual targeting.
The state of Indian film industry is such that anything that is being created or promoted in the name of religion or even if there is a slightest hint of religion based story line, a certain section of the media and people are targeting those projects.
Hindi movie actor Saif Ali Khan’s case is one such example. The actor’s next venture is ‘Adipurush’ which will be loosely based on Ramayana and Khan is playing Ravana in the film. The actor in an interview said, “through this film, he will try to show the benevolent and humane side of Ravan will be.”
Even though the actor later apologised for the response, the critics were already disturbed by his remarks. Now reports suggested that a case has been filed against the 50-year-old actor by an advocate from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh over his remarks.
Another case that grabbed headlines this week was Hrithik Roshan asked for transfer of the case between Ranaut and Roshan to CBI as the investigation was not being taken forward. To this Ranaut reacted in an aggressive manner on her social media saying, “His sob story starts again, so many years since our break up and his divorce but he refuses to move on, refuses to date any woman…” She went on to say that this report has come at a time when she was gathering the courage to find some hope in her personal life. Tagging Hrithik in the post, she said, “@iHrithik kab tak royega ek chote se affair keliye?”
