Suryakumar Yadav Strengthens His Rank At Top of T20Is

Suryakumar Yadav achieved the best ratings in his career in the latest ICC Men’s T20I Batting Rankings, far outpacing Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan.

Suryakumar Yadav, the top T20I performer for India, has solidified his position atop the ICC T20 batting rankings. 

In the second T20I match against New Zealand at Mount Maunganui, he scored an undefeated 111 to earn significant points. Suyrakumar Yadav has increased by 31 rating points, moving up to 890.

In T20Is, Suryakumar Yadav also rose to the top run-scorer position in 2022. After his blazing century against New Zealand, where he scored 111 runs in 51 deliveries, he overtook Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan.

Suryakumar Yadav represented India in 31 T20I matches in 2022, amassing 1164 runs at an average of 46.56, including 2 centuries and 9 half-centuries—the most by an Indian batsman in the game’s shortest format. The fact that all of these runs were hit at a strike rate of 187.43 is even more astounding.
