Suriya Appears With Fierce And Intense Look In Siruthai Siva’s Kanguva

Tamil actor Suriya‘s 48th birthday brought an exciting gift for his fans as the makers of his much-awaited film, Kanguva, released its first look.

In the 2-minute 21-second video, Suriya is portrayed as a formidable warrior named Kanguva. The video starts with a captivating voiceover praising Kanguva’s heroic abilities, like capturing a cloud, confronting a White Tiger, and riding the wild elephant of Mukkaadu.

Suriya appears wearing an animal mask and a necklace made of tiger claws, adding to the fierce and powerful look of his character.

The music by Devi Sri Prasad and the visuals by cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy create an intense and dramatic atmosphere.

The director, Siva, clarified that despite the mythological-looking setting, Kanguva is not a fantasy film, and Suriya’s character does not possess any superpowers.

Instead, the movie is based on historical events that took place 1500 years ago in Tamil Nadu. Siva expressed his joy in bringing his imaginary world to life with this film.

Kanguva also marks the Tamil debut of Bollywood actor Disha Patani. The movie is scheduled to be released in early 2024 in 3D format and will be available in 10 languages.

Suriya shared the first glimpse of Kanguva on Twitter, exciting fans even more about the upcoming film. The production is a collaboration between Studio Green and UV Creations, with K.E. Gnanavel Raja as the producer.

Suriya and Disha Patani play the lead roles in this action-packed drama directed by Siva, known for his previous works like ‘Souryam’ and ‘Daruvu: Sound Of Mass.’

The title teaser video, released earlier, showed glimpses of a mysterious night with an eagle, a dog, and a masked warrior on a horse leading a vast army. Suriya and Disha Patani shared their excitement about the movie on their social media platforms.
