Sunny Deol And Ayushmann Khurrana Collaborate for Border 2: Movie Set To Release on Republic Day 2026
Border is one of the blockbuster movies in the Bollywood Industry. After the announcement of the sequel Border 2 fans are excited for the movie. The most awaited Border 2 is likely to be released on Republic Day in the year 2026. Border 2 will be directed by famous director Anurag Singh and is backed by J.P Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, and Bhushan Kumar. As per the reports Border 2 will be released on 23 January during the Republic Day weekend. In Border 2 famous actor Sunny Deol will be in the lead but there is exciting news for the fans, leading Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurana has joined the star cast of the most awaited sequel.
According to the reports, the release of Border 2 on Republic Day weekend is a smart move. The makers want to release the movie on Republic Day weekend because the theme of the movie is related to the Indian army and their bravery which compliments Republic Day. Releasing the most anticipated movie during that time will compel the audience to watch the movie as it is a good fit and will strongly resonate with the audience.
A source told the media that, “ The sequel Border 2 for over a year is in the writing stage and the team has written a script that will stand to the expectations of the audience and can gain success like the previous blockbuster movie Border. Both Ayushmann Khurana and Sunny Deol are very much excited to start working on the movie by the end of the year”.

The source also stated that “ A big-level movie requires a lot of hard work, pre-production, and the idea is to gather talented individuals from worldwide to work in Border 2. Everyone involved in this project understands that Border is not just a movie but an emotion. Border 2 will be the biggest ever war movie of India”.
Border 2 news was not officially announced but the movie got so much attention also because of its release date. The release date of the upcoming Border 2 is crucial as it marks the 29th anniversary of the original Border movie.
