The makers want to release the movie on Republic Day weekend because the theme of the movie is related to the Indian army and their bravery which compliments Republic Day. A source told the media that, “ The sequel Border 2 for over a year is in the writing stage and the team has written a script that will stand to the expectations of the audience and can gain success like the previous blockbuster movie Border. Both Ayushmann Khurana and Sunny Deol are very much excited to start working on the movie by the end of the year”.
