Sonam Kapoor announces pregnancy, Anil Kapoor excited to be a grandfather

Sonam Kapoor and husband and businessman Anand Ahuja have announced their pregnancy on Monday. The couple said that they will welcome the baby by the end of this year.

Soon after the announcement, wishes kept on pouring for the couple and one of the first ones on the list was Anil Kapoor.

He showed his excitement of becoming a grandfather on social media. Other celebrities who wished the couple included Anushka Sharma, Sonam’s sister and designer Rhea Kapoor, Nick Jonas and many more.

Kapoor shared the news on social media as she posted a series of pictures with husband Anand who is seen cradling her baby bump.

She captioned her post, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”

Anil Kapoor on the other hand shared the same pictures in a separate post saying that now he is all set to prepare for the most exciting role of his life. He added that from hereon, their lives will never be the same again and the news has made the whole family extremely happy. The couple tied the knot in May 2018 in an Anand Karaj ceremony. The wedding was a star-studded affair. Post the wedding, the actor thanked her stars for being married to Anand and not any Bollywood celebrity. She said that if she would have done that, her world view would have been extremely limited and be restricted to what is happening in the industry.
