Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal's Wedding Highlights
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal made their first public appearance as a married couple on Sunday, with Sonakshi proudly displaying her sindoor and red bindi. She looked radiant in a red silk saree, while Zaheer complemented her perfectly in an all-white ensemble.
The paparazzi and media were extremely excited by the presence of Sonakshi and Zaheer for the first time after marriage.
The couple posed for the cameras at their wedding reception, which was a star-studded affair attended by celebrities like Salman Khan, Kajol, Vidya Balan, Rekha, Huma Qureshi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aditya Roy Kapur, Tabu, and Anil Kapoor.
Sonakshi and Zaheer shared their first wedding photos on Instagram on Sunday.
Due to their inter-faith marriage, they turned off the comment section to avoid trolling. They were married under the Special Marriage Act at Sonakshi’s home in Mumbai.
Zaheer’s father had previously clarified that Sonakshi would not be converting to Islam.
Despite initial reports of being upset with the sudden wedding plans, Shatrughan Sinha attended the ceremony with his wife Poonam Sinha to give blessings to her daughter Sonakshi.
