Sita Ramam Box Office Collection Crosses ₹40 Crore Mark

Dulquer Salmaan & Mrunal Thakur’s film Sita Ramam’s box office collection have surpassed the ₹40 crore threshold on the 6th day. It had minted half a million in the US on the 3rd day.

Sita Ramam, a Telugu period drama directed by Dulquer Salmaan, is doing well at the box office and has already been dubbed a hit by industry analysts.

After six days in theaters, the movie has made over 40 crore rupees, and it plans to capitalize on the lengthy Fourth of July weekend.

Originally shot in Telugu, the Hanu Raghavapudi-directed film was also remade and released in Tamil as well as Malayalam.

Dulquer plays a lieutenant officer in the Indian Army in the movie. Kashmir in the 1960s serves as the backdrop for the narrative. 

Mrunal Thakur & Sumanth play significant parts as well. 

‘Sita Ramam’ Collects ₹40 Crore At Box Office

Sita Ramam had made ₹33 crore worldwide in five days, according to an official poster that the movie’s creators unveiled on Wednesday.

According to trade analyst Trinath, the movie has surpassed the 40 crore mark globally after six days of release. In just five days, Sita Ramam earned ₹33 crores worldwide.

Dulquer Salmaan Shared His Views

Dulquer had shared a statement on Tuesday thanking fans for their support after the film received excellent reviews. Rashmika Mandanna is also in the movie.

He added in his statement, “The beautiful Telugu audience,” “OK Bangaram was the first movie I’ve ever had released with a Telugu dub. You all took a chance on me and showed me a tonne of affection in my first outing, all because of Mani Sir.

Then, Nagi and Vyjayanthi gave me the chance to play Gemini in Mahanati, and despite the fact that the character had some gray areas, the love and appreciation I received for it and the movie was unlike anything I had anticipated. 

Wherever I went, Ammadi became an inextricable part of my existence. Kurup and Kanulu Kanulanu Dochayante were dubbed movies, but I’ll never forget the devotion you showed to them.”
