The SC has considered an appeal registered by victims of the Delhi riots and will be hearing the issue on Wednesday. The claimants, the victims of the violence claimed 46 deaths have asked FIR on BJP leaders Kapil Mishra.
The PIL has recorded by 10 people from Northeast Delhi the victims of the communal conflicts that shook Delhi past 3 days. The petitioners have asked urgent FIRs on Kapil Mishra, Anurag Thakur, Pravesh Verma who have made hate speeches.
They have also asked an SIT with leaders from outside Delhi to investigate the disturbance. They have also asked that the Army should be called in to support law and order in the concerned areas of northeast Delhi.
The people from northeast Delhi have also asked an examination by an inquiry panel managed by a retired judge.
CJI SA Bobde stated, “We are not saying people should die but this kind of pressure the court can’t handle. It raises expectations that this court can stop rioting. We can only step in once something has happened.”

“We will hear the matter but it must be understood that the court comes on to the scene after something is done. The court cannot stop it. We wish for peace but we know there are limitations on our power,” stated CJI Bobde.
The appeal on Delhi violence that will be learned after two days.
The appeal has affirmed the list of people who have been held by police.
The petition has also asked that postmortem records of the victims.
