Samsung Galaxy Phones To Get Satellite Connectivity Feature Like iPhones

After iPhones, Samsung may also introduce the Satellite Connectivity feature on its most-premium Galaxy S-series & Fold-series smartphones.

After Apple launched it on the iPhone 14 series, Samsung will apparently add satellite connectivity to its Galaxy handsets.

The leak was discovered by Twitter tipper Ricciolo, although it is yet unknown which Samsung phones will receive this function and in which nations.

The iPhone 14 series’ satellite connectivity feature is only available in the US and Canada, according to Apple. The connectivity option is still not available to the common people in nations like India.

The feature was added by Apple to the new iPhone 14 models, including the 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max. Additionally, the incredibly expensive Apple Watch Ultra supports it.

When they are outside of cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity, customers have the ability to text emergency services via Emergency SOS via satellite.

If the information in the leak is true, it’s probable that Samsung would initially roll out the functionality on its most expensive Galaxy S-series & Fold-series smartphones.

Whether the corporation would launch the alternative in markets other than the US and Canada is unknown.

Samsung has already imitated Apple when it comes to adding new features to its smartphones.

For instance, to increase sales of its proprietary TWS earphones, the corporation began deleting the headphones jack. The first to do it was Apple with their widely available iPhone 7 series.

For its new iPhone 14 cellphones, Apple has also taken several features from its Android competitors. On the iPhone 14 Pro & 14 Pro Max, for instance, the company added AoD (always-on display).

But many Android phones have had the capability for a long time. In 2016, the Galaxy S7 Edge from Samsung was the device that made it popular.

Similar to how the iPhone 14’s Action Mode, which is just another name for steady mode, is available on Samsung’s flagship as Super Steady mode.
