Samantha Says ‘No’ To Body-Doubles For Action Scenes In Yashoda

Yashoda movie directors have told the media that Samantha did all action scenes by herself. ‘Yashoda’ movie release date was 12th August but it has been postponed.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was always the first choice for Yashosa, director duo Hari Shankar and Harish Narayan revealed in an exclusive conversation with media.

Known for designing India’s first viewpoint film Orr Eravu and Ambuli (2012), Tamil’s first stereoscopic 3D film, Hari Aur Harish this time comes up with a plot that can draw national audiences to theaters. Is.

Known as pioneer filmmakers, Hari and Harish said, “We had all the recognitions and awards, but we wanted to reach out to the mainstream audience and bring something different.

Hari and Harish, who are making their directorial debut in Telugu with Yashoda, speak about Samantha’s first reaction to reading the script. 

“We wanted to approach a star who could understand the different storyline, which is also commercial enough to meet the expectations of the mainstream audience. 

We wanted to get someone who could do well and be similar. stardom… the first choice was Samantha and luckily, within 25 minutes of the first meeting, she said yes.”

“The major action portion of the film is shot on set. For the fight scenes, Sam wanted to be there for 2 or 3 days for rehearsals…
