Paava Kadhaigal

Sai Pallavi turned a million heads in 2020 through her strong performance in the short film ‘Oor Iravu’ from the Tamil anthology film ‘Paava Kadhaigal’.

The film is based on the serious issue of honour killings that are still prevalent in certain parts of India. The actress was widely applauded for her emotional portrayal of Sumathi.

The audience commended her ability to convey the character’s suffering with authenticity. The film also features Prakash Raj whose character is willing to kill his own daughter for honour.

Maari 2
