Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo Series Portrays Women-Run Drug Empire

Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo has a talented ensemble cast of Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Isha Talwar, Nasseruddin Shah, and Deepak Dobriyal, with an interesting premise.

Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo, a crime drama series starring Deepak Dobriyal, Radhika Madan, Nasseuddin Shah, and Dimple Kapadia, has released its teaser and seems to be the upcoming major dhamaka on OTT. 

The main character in the series is Savitri (Dimple Kapadia), also known as Desi Pablo Escobar, who runs a vast drug empire alongside her chaotic family. 

The four main characters in the story are Savitri, her daughters-in-law Bijli and Kajal, and her daughter Shanta. 

Savitri has a business called Rani Cooperative that trades in everything from textiles to jari-booti balms. 

But nothing in this place is exactly as it seems. It turns out that this side venture is only a cover for the largest drug cartel operating in South Asia. 

In Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo on Disney+ Hotstar, which stars Dimple Kapadia as the title character, she commented, “I’ll admit that Savitri’s family is chaotic at best as they draw knives to be one up on each other. 

But it might very well be the last error that person makes if someone from the outside poses a threat to their existence. 

Even though I’ve done fighting scenes in some of my movies, this was unabashed and real. I did appreciate the action scenes. 

The audience will be captivated by the drama and violence. I advise you to use a seatbelt before riding this roller coaster on Disney+ Hotstar.”

“Saas, Bahu aur Flamingo is not for the faint-hearted,” remarked Homi Adajania, the film’s director and creator. She added,

“Many skeletons emerge from closets as you become immersed in the life of the saas-bahu family, and chaos prevails as these unforgettable individuals struggle for control and defend what is rightfully theirs. 

The women in the series are spartans – you’d have to have a death-wish if you faced them on any soil!”

The series starred Deepak Dobriyal, Dimple Kapadia, Radhika Madan, Angira Dhar, Isha Talwar, Nasseruddin Shah, Ashish Verma, Varun Mitra, and Udit Arora.

Homi Adajania directed and wrote Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo, which is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. The show will debut exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar starting on May 5, 2023.
