‘Royal Enfield Rental’ Program To Bring Iconic Bikes Closer to You

If you’re crazy enough for Royal Enfield bikes but can’t afford it now, or can’t have one for any reason, let me introduce you to ‘Royal Enfield Rental.’

Royal Enfield company has launched a new program in India called Royal Enfield Rental. This rental program allows us to rent motorcycles in 25 cities across India.

The company has partnered with over 40 motorcycle rental operators and who have a bunch of over 300 motorcycles available for rent.

The program is currently available in cities such as big cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Bengaluru, among others. But the company is also planning to expand the program to more cities in the future.

The Chief Brand Officer of Royal Enfield, Mohit Dhar Jayal, said that the program will provide access to motorcycles for riders all over India. It will also support the motorcycle rental operators who are an important part of the company’s ecosystem.

This initiative by Royal Enfield aims to make motorcycles more accessible to those who love these bikes but can’t own one.

If they still want to experience riding the Royal Enfield bikes, this rental program is like an opportunity for motorcycle rental operators to benefit from the popularity of Royal Enfield motorcycles.

Meanwhile, Royal Enfield is also going to launch its two new models, the Himalayan 450 and the Shotgun 650.

The Shotgun 650 will be based on the same platform as the Super Meteor 650, Interceptor 650, and Continental GT 650, while the Himalayan 450 will be based on a completely new platform with a new engine.

The specifications of both bikes have been revealed through government approval documents. The Shotgun 650 will have a parallel-twin 650cc engine with 46.4bhp of power and 52 Nm of torque.

You may experience that the power delivery may be adjusted for better low-end and mid-range performance. It will also have a 6-speed gearbox and a shorter length and wheelbase compared to the Super Meteor 650.

The Himalayan 450, referred to as the Himalayan 452 in the documents, will be powered by a 451.65cc single-cylinder engine producing 40.2bhp of power.

However, the torque figures are not yet known. But we are sure that the new Himalayan will have a longer wheelbase, increased length, and wider width compared to the current model.

There are lots of Royal Enfield fans who are eagerly waiting for the launch of both bikes as well as some are also excited for the rental program. These new models are part of Royal Enfield’s plan to introduce new bikes in the coming years.
