Rojgar Mela: 75,000 Youth Get Offer Letters, Aims To Recruit 10 Lakh People

PM Modi launched the ‘Rojgar Mela’ today which aims to recruit 10 lakh people, where 75,000 youth got appointment letters on its first day.

Through a video conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today officially began the “Rozgar Mela,” a hiring initiative for 10 lakh people. 

75,000 newly appointed appointees will get appointment letters during the ceremony. The new hires from all throughout the nation will work for 38 Ministries/Departments of the Indian Government.

PM Modi stated during the virtual launch event that “The world’s fifth-largest economy right now is India. We moved up from tenth to fifth in the past eight years. 

True, many major economies throughout the world are experiencing inflation and unemployment; but, these problems are unavoidable consequences of the worst economic crisis in a century “.

10 Important Points About The ‘Rozgar Mela’

1. PM Modi inaugurated the ‘Rozgar Mela,’ a recruitment campaign for 10 lakh people, through video conference today.
2. During today’s ceremony, 75,000 new recruits were given their appointment letters.
3. The 38 Ministries/Departments of the Indian Government will welcome the new hires from all over the nation.
4. The appointees will be a part of the government in a variety of capacities, including Group A, Group B (Gazetted), Group B (Non-Gazetted), and Group C.
5. Among the positions for which recruitments are being made are Central Armed Force Personnel, MTS, LDC, Steno, and Income Tax Inspectors “stated in the PMO statement.

6. Ministries and Departments are carrying out these hirings in a mission-mode, either on their own or through employment firms like the Railway Recruitment Board, UPSC, and SSC.
7. Prime Minister Modi stated during the virtual launch event that “The world’s fifth-largest economy right now is India. We moved up from 10th to 5th in the past 8 years.
8. PM Modi discussed the consequences of the Covid-19 outbreak, referring to it as the worst disaster in 100 years.
9. He said, “It’s true that many major economies around the world are experiencing inflation and unemployment; the effects of the worst crisis in a 100 years won’t just disappear in a 100 days.
10. “Despite this, India has been making a full-throated effort to escape the global crisis by taking new initiatives and some risks. Over the past eight years, we have reduced the problems that hampered our economy, “said PM Modi.
