Robotic Vacuum Cleaner Market In India Rises 24% YoY In H1 22

People are widely accepting Robotic Vacuum Cleaners in India like the rest of the world. Consequently its industry gained 24% growth in the Indian market this year.

Even as life in India gets back to normal after COVID, the popularity of robotic vacuum cleaners keeps rising. 

According to market researcher Counterpoint’s most recent analysis, which was released on Thursday, the market for robotic vacuum cleaners gained 24% year over year (YoY) in terms of shipping volume during the first half of calendar year 2022.

Counterpoint analysts attributed the growth to rising consumer product awareness and rising demand from hybrid workers. Counterpoint withheld the precise quantity of units delivered.

Although robotic vacuum cleaners can price close to one lakh rupees, a Counterpoint analysis reveals that the most popular devices were those in the range of $16,000 to $24,000, followed by those in the range of $10,000 to $16,000.

The market, which grew in popularity as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, is still significant today. 

Robot vacuum cleaners are among the greatest solutions available to help people with their household cleaning. 

People are returning to their offices and realizing, according to Counterpoint research analyst Varun Gupta.

Xiaomi has the largest market share, contributing for 30% of shipments with a 45% YoY growth rate. The Xiaomi Mop-P robotic vacuum cleaner was the most popular model.

The second-highest number of devices were supplied by Eureka Forbes, one of the first companies to introduce robotic vacuum cleaners in India. It held a 22% market share and experienced 40% YoY growth.

iRobot, which Amazon purchased last month, dropped to fourth place with 8% of the market due to a 38% YoY decline in shipments. 

With 10% of the market, ILIFE is now in third place. According to the research, the other top five brands in H1 2022 included Milgrao and Eufy, each with a 6% and 8% market share.

In H1 2022, the top 3 brands controlled 62% of the market. The majority of people are still purchasing these gadgets online, but as more consumers demand hands-on experiences, companies like Xiaomi are stocking them in their physical locations as well.

According to the survey, Realme, which joined the robot vacuum market in late H2 2021, is one of the brands that is expanding the fastest, along with the brand Viomi.
