Riteish Deshmukh To Play Villain In Upcoming ‘Raid 2’ Against Ajay Devgn

Raid 2 is an upcoming movie where famous actor Riteish Deshmukh is going to play a different kind of role, a villain, against Ajay Devgn. 

It’s a big change because Riteish and Ajay have mostly worked together in funny movies before. This time, the movie is all about action and drama. Vaani Kapoor will also be in the movie.

The director of the movie is Rajkumar Gupta, and the producers are Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The movie started shooting last week in Mumbai. 

They plan to shoot in different places like Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Last December, actor Ravi Teja helped start the shooting of Raid 2. Ajay Devgn posted a photo from the first day of shooting on Instagram.

The first Raid movie came out in 2018. It was about the true story of a big income tax raid in the 1980s against Congress MLA Sardar Inder Singh. Ajay Devgn, Saurabh Shukla, and Ileana D’Cruz played the main roles. The movie did really well, both with critics and at the box office.

Raid 2 is expected to be even more thrilling and dramatic than the first movie. It’s inspired by real events, but the director has added some extra drama to make it more interesting for the audience. The shooting of Raid 2 will go on for the next few months.

In Raid 2, Ajay Devgn plays the role of an IRS officer named Amay Patnaik. His new challenge in this movie is Riteish Deshmukh’s character. 

The movie will have a lot of powerful scenes and dialogues between these two actors. It seems to be very exciting to watch them in this hero-versus-villain story.

The movie is set to release on November 15, 2024. It’s one of the most awaited movies of the year, especially because Ajay Devgn is also in another big movie coming out, Singham Again.
