Rishabh Pant Severely Injured Due To Car Accident In Uttarakhand

The Indian renowned cricketer Rishabh Pant badly injured as his car crashed with a divider on Uttarakhand highway. He was immediately taken to the hospital.

Rishabh Pant, a wicket keeper and batsman, was injured in an accident early on this morning near Roorkee, Uttarakhand, when his car hit a road divider and afterwards caught fire.

The incident happened as Pant, who is allegedly not in danger, was traveling from Delhi to his birthplace of Roorkee.

Local police and adjacent people hurried to the scene after hearing a loud crash sound and helped him out of the car. He was subsequently sent to a neighboring hospital, where a referral to a major Dehradun hospital was made.

Pant was initially referred to a hospital in Dehradun after being initially hospitalized to a private facility in Roorkee. He apparently sustained head wounds as well as a ligament injury to his right ankle, according to police sources.

Pant’s car was involved in an accident at 5.30 am in the Haridwar district, close to Mohammadpur Jat, in the vicinity of the Mangalore police station.

He was quickly sent by the 108 ambulance and neighborhood cops to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee. He was then directed to Dehradun from there.

According to police sources, Pant was the only driver of the vehicle when the collision occurred at around 5.30 am.

According to sources, Pant lost control of the vehicle, slammed against the barrier, and was then propelled out of the windscreen by the impact.

Within seconds, the car was on fire and completely burnt. When the firefighters arrived, they put out the fire.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed officials to make all necessary arrangements for the cricketer’s good care.

The state government will cover all costs of the treatment, the chief minister declared, while wishing him a swift recovery. The CM of Uttarakhand also assured to provide an air ambulance if required.
