Reviving Cultural Heritage: Ram Mandir’s Inauguration Unites India

India is attempting to reclaim and reconcile its enviable ancient heritage with its modern India through what is being called a “civilizational change.” There is little question that Indian heritage, religion, and culture were suppressed with the arrival of Mughal raiders in India around the year 8 AD, and this suppression persisted under British rule. Many things were lost forever and destroyed in the process. Since gaining independence, India has made little attempt to promote its history and culture and has instead continued to imitate Western countries. Even Indian history has largely ignored the thousands of years that preceded the Mughal era in favor of concentrating only on the last 1500 years. In exchange, the country has not succeeded in creating a strong sense of national identity in the majority of areas, including education.

India is undergoing a transformative phase, reclaiming its ancient heritage under the leadership of the BJP government. The focus on a distinct Indian identity, rooted in a 7000-year-old history, is evident. The inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, is a pivotal event in this civilizational revival.

Regrettably, those who criticize the government often have a very narrow perspective on this. They see it as a way to impose Hindu dominance over the nation. They reject the harsh reality that any return to ancient Indian heritage will inevitably lead to a return to Hinduism. It has been thriving and entwined with the culture of this land for more than 7000 years. Any return to India’s ancient past will therefore seem to be skewed towards Hinduism. Since secularism is ingrained in Hinduism, any insinuation that such a revival is against the country’s secular credentials is without merit.

A Cultural Renaissance

Since 2014, the BJP government has prioritized the revival of Indian heritage, including the religious aspect. Critics often misinterpret this as an attempt to establish Hindu supremacy, overlooking the inherent secularism in Hinduism. The government’s aim is to develop a national identity deeply connected to India’s rich past.

It will be an enormous task for Mr. Modi and his administration to overcome the obstacles in the way of creating an Indian national identity. They also realize that only their government is in favor of this crucial necessity for the country. For obvious reasons, the political opposition, including Congress, avoids this exercise; appeasing the minority is at the top of the list.

Ram Mandir Inauguration: A National Celebration

The Ram Mandir inauguration is planned as a mega event across the nation. This signifies the resurgence of a vital part of India’s civilization. Notably, the event has garnered widespread support, with Hindu-Muslim unity evident. Political parties, despite minor dissent, stand united on this historic occasion.

Muslim Perspective on Ram Mandir

The survey indicates that the nation’s Muslims think that everyone owns a Ram and that Ram belongs to everyone, and the majority were happy with this construction. As a result, it is imperative to respond appropriately to those disruptive forces attempting to destroy the nation’s atmosphere in the name of Ram. Additionally, Muslims publicly declared that it is forbidden to worship in a mosque constructed by razing a sacred site belonging to a different religion.

Following the landmark decision regarding the Babri Mosque and Ram Birthplace, the verdict was applauded by every community.

Future Prospects: A Grand Mosque

With the Babri Masjid-Ram Birthplace verdict settled, plans for a grand mosque in the same region are underway. This forthcoming mosque, set to be the largest in Asia, highlights the inclusive nature of India. It is anticipated to receive widespread support globally. The design process has already begun.

There is no doubt that the project will garner support from the entire Muslim community, not just in India but globally as well. There is no doubt that it will be a huge project. Will the mosque elicit the same concerns from outsiders as the Ram Mandir does at the moment? Will they declare the event to be against the country’s secular credentials? Is the catchphrase “Popcorn and curfews: India gets ready for New Mosque with frenzy and fear” going to be repeated?

Media Landscape: Joyful Anticipation

From social media to news channels, the Ram Mandir’s inauguration is omnipresent. New songs celebrating the occasion flood music platforms, reflecting the joyous anticipation. India’s diverse religious fabric is showcased as the country welcomes guests from 53 countries.

Ultimately, Ram Mandir Inauguration represents a significant aspect of our civilization that is reviving. The country is united on this issue, and Hindu Muslims embrace this reality with shivers down their spines. Politically speaking, every party supports the Ram Mandir; aside from a few meaningless remarks, they are not taking any action that would draw attention from the Western media. We are seeing that they are not required to be content with India’s peace, joy, and unity. In the current geopolitical context, the US, the West, and the Arab world are in a conflict zone and deal with racism, terrorism, and crime daily. However, as Indians, we extend an invitation to visitors from 53 different nations to experience our unique cultural freedom, where everyone is delighted to have their lord in their home.

Unity in Diversity

India’s celebration of the Ram Mandir inauguration exemplifies unity in diversity. The event symbolizes a collective embrace of cultural freedom, with citizens eagerly awaiting the return of Lord Ram to Ayodhya.

Conclusion

The Ram Mandir’s inauguration is more than a religious ceremony; it’s a celebration of India’s rich heritage and cultural unity. As the nation moves towards a harmonious future, events like these become essential milestones in building a strong national identity.

All Indians, regardless of their religion, are waiting for their Lord to return home, which is why we are inviting visitors from 53 and more countries to witness the inauguration of the Ram Mandir! Greetings from your Ayodhya, RAM!
