Legendary Bhojpuri folk singer Sharda Sinha passed away at the age of 72. The news broke out on the night of November 5th she was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi. Sharda Sinha soulful voice and contribution to folk music. She had been battling a serious illness for the past six years.
According to the media reports Sharda Sinha was suffering from Multiple Myeloma. It is a form of blood cancer which ultimately led to her demise.
Multiple Myeloma is a type of blood cancer. This impacts the white blood cells which protect the immune system the worst condition of the disease impact WBCs which damage the immune system of the body.
Experts explain that Multiple Myeloma doesn’t always present clear symptoms, but bone pain is a common complaint in over 50% of patients. Other symptoms include extreme fatigue, unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, and spinal pain.
Research shows that the survival rate for this cancer is around five years.
