Reliance Jio, Rolling Stone & Creativeland Asia jointly built a short-video app ‘Platfom’. It will provide booking monetization for creators unlike the Reels, TikTok or Shorts.
‘Platfom,’ a short-video app, was created by telecom giant Reliance Jio in association between Rolling Stone India and Creativeland Asia.
The software is made for content producers in a variety of industries, such as comedians, musicians, dancers, fashion designers, and actors.
The first 100 members can only join by invitation, and their profiles will have a golden checkmark for them.
The biggest service provider in the nation has made the decision to join the group of short-video apps.
We are eager to see how Jio’s app compares to its rivals given that apps like TikTok and Instagram have already made their presence known in this market.
Although Platfom takes a different tack, only time will tell if the latest app can remain competitive.
Only those who receive invitations will be allowed to join the first 100 members of Platfom. On their profiles, a golden check mark will appear.
These users will be the first to receive a preview of the launch of the new features introduced to the app, and they can invite other creators to join via the referral program. The user base will eventually grow to include more creators.
Platfom now distinguishes itself from other apps for short videos. The well-known “paid promotions” policy is inapplicable.
Users can instead advance through “ranks and repute” on the service. Ticks in the colors silver, blue, and red will be awarded based on the creator’s “fanbase and content engagement.”
In the long run, this kind of “organic” strategy would enable creators to monetize their talent.
Fans, companies, and other artists will be able to contact the creative directly through a “Book Now” option on their profiles for collaborations, shows, and other such agreements.
