Real Madrid’s Grand Victory Over Bayern Munich: Enters Champions League Final

The best team ever Real Madrid of  Europe is one step away from winning the title of Champions League for the 15th time after reaching the finals for the 18th time. Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich was a match full of excitement, thrill, and drama.

Real Madrid secured its position in the finals after two goals from Joselu which helped the team to win against Bayern Munich with a score of 4-3.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich locked horns and entertained the audience with a remarkable semi-final match at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on 08 May 2024.

The most awaited final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will be held on 1st June at Wembley.

Glimpse Of the Semi-Final Between Madrid and Munich

At the Allianz Arena, Madrid on its home ground Bernabeu started its game strongly trying its best to play through the strong defence of Bayern Munich. Vinicius Jr. played his game very well and kept Joshua Kimmich busy during the match. After the 13th minute, Real Madrid got its chance when Vinicius Jr shot the target after an outstanding save made by Neuer. Neuer also blocked the follow-up of Rodrygo.

The first half of the game was not so entertaining as both the teams failed to score and the score during the first half was 0-0. In the second half the stadium of Bernbeau lit up when Real Madrid started to target the goals and did not leave any chance to Munich for playing their game. But the goal was scored in the 68th by Munich’s Alphonso Davies. He made an excellent curling shot that hit the goal past Lunin.

 After this, in the 72nd minute, Real Madrid also scored a goal but later it was not considered a goal because Nacho fouled Kimmich while targeting the goal.

Real Madrid’s Joselu Made The Difference

In the 81st minute, Joselu came as a substitute for Carlo Ancelotti. In the 88th minute, Joselu hit the target and later in the 91st minute Joselu hit another target but it was disallowed by the referee so Madrid took the review and after the review, the goal was announced valid.

Real Madrid has defeated Bayern Munich for the 11th time in the Champions League.
