RCB won today’s IPL match with PBKS today in a very exciting IPL match in Dharamshala. RCB won this match by 60 runs. After losing the toss, RCB came out to bat first, Virat Kohli started a tremendous innings and RCB scored a huge score of 241 runs for 7 wickets.
Virat Kohli scored 92 runs in 42 bowls and crossed his 1000 IPL runs against PBKS. Kohli became the first batsman in the history of the tournament to do so against three opponents DC, CSK, and now PBKS. Virat Kohli became the player of the match.
Apart from Kohli , Rajat Patidar (55 off 23) and Cameron Green (46 off 27) also presented an example of a good game. Patidar and Kohli together bring a strong partnership of 76 runs.
PBKS won the toss and decided to bowl first. After the RCB’s innings, PBKS did not have a good start while chasing a big score. They lost their wickets in early overs. RCB bowlers again performed well here! The team PBKS scored total of 181 runs in 17 overs.
Thrill of the match increased as RCB bowled out PBKS rapidly. Faf du Plessis’ backward running catch, Kohli’s run-out, and Karn Sharma’s 2/29 were game-changers and key-moments in the match. Defending 242, RCB started strong with Swapnil Singh’s LBW trap. Rossouw’s fiery start was almost stopped by du Plessis, but he went on a rampage against Siraj. Bairstow joined the frenzy with a quick 65-run partnership until Ferguson struck. du Plessis’ brilliant backward catch broke their momentum at 75/2.
For his team PBKS, Rossouw scored a quickfire 61 runs in 27 balls, Karn Sharma’s comeback and Kohli’s direct hit sealed the victory for RCB and sent Rossouw back to the pavilion. Then Sharma then take wickets of Jitesh Sharma. Swapnil Singh took the wicket of Livingstone. Kohli’s direct hit ends Shashank Singh at 37. Siraj and Ferguson chip in with crucial wickets as PBKS crumbles to 170/8. RCB seals a commanding win in the 17th over
Today both IPL teams RCB and PBKS were playing at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala. The match was between two hanging teams who would coincidentally qualify for the playoffs. Both teams have registered seven wins in their first eleven games.
