This week, Rahul Gandhi, the Congress party leader, is coming to Maharashtra on Thursday. He will be going there for holding the campaign for the Congress party regarding elections in Maharashtra.
The Congress party is not contesting alone but in an alliance with two other parties, namely UBT Sena and NCP-SP. All these collectively hope for a victory. The head of the Congress Party, Mallikarjun Kharge, visits Maharashtra today as well.
Today being a busy schedule for Rahul Gandhi, firstly he inaugurates the statue of former vital minister Patangrao Kadam at Wangi around 1 pm, then at around 1:45 pm, addresses the major public meeting at Kadegaon.
The coalition group, headed by the Congress party, is known as Maha Vikas Aghadi, which consists of three parties: Shivsena UBT, led by Uddhav Thackeray; Nationalist Congress Party SP, led by Sharad Pawar; and Congress.
Recently, Sharad Pawar spoke about who could be the Chief Minister in case of the victory of their team. He says they have not decided yet and will go with any one name after the election. He says that their team will win the maximum number of seats in this election.

Maha Vikas Aghadi is not sparing any stone unturned to counter the present regime in the State, saying in confidence that by coming together, most probably they would succeed in winning the Maharashtra elections.
This is a sign of seriousness by the Rahul Gandhi-Mallikarjun Kharge duo in the ensuing elections. In a nutshell, this is a readiness to face challenges and hopefully win in Maharashtra.
