Pruthvi Shamanur Debuts In Padavi Poorva Kannada Film

Padavi Poorva Kannada film, directed by Hariprasad Jayanna was released on Friday. The film narrates the story of Yogaraj Bhattara who is pursuing pre-graduation.

Pruthvi Shamanur makes her acting debut in Padavi Poorva, the debut movie of Hariprasad Jayanna. One of Sandalwood’s newest actors, the 19-year-old will make his feature film debut this week.

It’s interesting to note that the rookie started filming for Padavi Poorva while he was still a PUC student and is currently enrolled in his second year of BBA. 

“I’ve always had a fascination for acting; if I watched a movie, I would frequently play the role of the hero instead of the main character.

Although I did try my luck as a kid actor, several directors turned me down because of my height. My height is actually a benefit right now,” the actor explains.

His father, Ravi Shamanur, and Yogaraj Bhat both invested in the movie. “My father never made us do anything we didn’t want to do and has always encouraged my interest. He is taking a chance out of love for his son, Pruthvi explains with a smile.

Since Padavi Poorva is based in the 1990s, the debut performer reveals that the entire cast made considerable effort to immerse themselves in that time.

“We avoided bringing cellphones to the sets, which allowed us to fully experience the way of life and environment of the era. However, I am the same way in real life as I am in my character as Naveen.” 

“I feel the people of the 1990s spent fantastic moments, particularly without the hassles of phones, and I am always encircled by my friends, with whom I have a good link,” says Pruthvi. That being said, college life will always be unique, regardless of age, generation, or time.

He describes how he handled the sequences where, at the age of 19, he had to romance the lead actress (Anjali Anish). 

“At first, I was apprehensive, but the director’s workshops enabled me to get along with my co-stars.

We formed a bond, and it showed in our on-screen chemistry. Thank goodness, the timeframe of the movie didn’t allow for the present romantic depiction,” he comments.

According to Pruthvi, making friends while in college is unquestionably the best part of the experience. “Every member of my group from college has come to attend my debut. 

It’s wonderful that people in my hometown of Davangere are proud of me, he says, adding that while Padavi Poorva is undoubtedly not a message-oriented movie, there are a lot of lessons to be learned from the characters and moments in it.

According to Pruthvi, his director Hariprasad Jayanna is a picture of serenity who never allowed the sets to get into panic mode. 

“Yogaraj Bhat and the entire technical team have always been supportive and helped us to deliver our best effort. 

I thought that the gunfire should never stop given the support they were providing. I hope to work with all of them again,” he concluded.
