Priyanka-Nick welcome their first child via surrogacy, the couple asks for privacy

On Friday, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child by surrogacy by announcing its arrival via their respective Instagram accounts.

The two shared a note expressing their joy about the matter adding that they now respect privacy for this beautiful moment. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate,” the two said.

The couple married in 2018 after meeting each other officially in the Met Gala in 2017. The two represented Ralph Lauren, who was also selected to be the wedding designer for their wedding events.

Nick Jonas, actor and singer, had reportedly shut down an entire Tiffany’s story in New York to pick out Chopra’s ring and he proposed to her during a vacation in London on her birthday.

A British daily claims that the child is a girl and she was born 12 weeks premature. The girl was due in April but the surrogate ended up giving birth last week as per sources. The report also claimed that the couple has been wanting to have a child for quite some time but due to busy schedules, they could not focus on it. “This is the woman’s fifth surrogacy. They met her and really liked her,” the report claimed.
