However, a Malayalam-language film called Kaduva, which is finally scheduled to release its OTT streaming debut following a successful run in theaters last month, is one of the first significant drops of the weekend.

Kaduva Plot, Concept & Storyline

Kaduva is an Indian masala movie in the Malayalam language, directed by Shaji Kailas, and produced by the companies Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames.

The narrative of Kaduva, also known as Kaduvakunnel Kuriyachan, an aspiring rubber planter, is told in the late 1990s film.

Kaduva is transported to the District prison in Kottayam through peculiar means, where three prisoners make an apparent assassination attempt on Kaduva at the direction of a local inspector general.

It turns out that Joseph Chandy Ouseppukutty, the IG in question, and Kaduva have a long history of animosity.

The mystery of this planter is revealed through flashbacks to their early years and subsequent cuts back to the dreadful predicament that Kaduva finds himself in, but who will actually end up in the ground?

On Thursday, August 4th, the 2022 Kaduva movie is slated for global OTT streaming distribution via the Amazon Prime Video service.

Kaduva would debut starting at 12 AM IST on Thursday, August 4th. This would also be in conformity with the platform’s regular update timetable for original Indian content. A particular release time has not yet been officially announced.

Kaduvakunnel “Kaduva” Kuriyachan, also known as Kaduvakunnel Kurian Koruthu, is portrayed in the 2022 film Kaduva by Prithviraj Sukumaran, with I.G. Joseph Chandy (Ouseppukutty) played by Vivek Oberoi.
