Prashant Kishor Will Rejoin Politics, Soon

West Bengal has a new young contender that is emerging in the fourth phase of polls.  This is no one else but the political strategist Prashant Kishor. But he has no plans to enter politics now. Speaking to the controversial journalist Arnab Goswami, that he is busy managing the political campaign for Mamata Banerjee, MK Stalin and has been recently roped in to help Captain Amarinder Singh as a political advisor to Punjab CM aswell.

He has his hands full and stated that he will re-enter politics only in a couple of years.  He said he would not go revisit his previous failure and re-enter the political scenario afresh.  Kishor has previously been a JDU’s Vice-president after successfully getting CM Nitish Kumar re-elected in 2015. Kishor does not have plans to remain an advisor forever. “I am not scared of being in the forefront,” he said while speaking to the media.

He had a bad patch with politics also when he was expelled from JDU for ‘anti-party activities’ after he openly spoke against CAA and questioned Nitish Kumar’s support for it.

He is known to have later launched his ‘Baat Bihar Ki’ campaign where he slammed CM Nitish Kumar for standing with “Godse supporters”.  His behavior is been of that of a rebellious Goswami as well.

He is also known to have slammed the Modi-Shah duo a number of times. He has spoken unequivocally about the use of responsible social media. Kishor had commented upon use of Twitter about not being a ‘luxury’ only “Gujarat people”. Ironically, Kishor was the BJP’s poll strategist during the 2014 Lok Sabha and spearheaded the ‘Ab ki Baar Modi Sarkar’ campaign which led to the ‘Modi wave’.

Strangely, Kishor has been silent overuse of Twitter himself, especially when it comes to promotions over leadership revolution in Bihar. He had publicly promised to work on the ‘grass level leadership in Bihar, leading to the Bihar polls, since the on-set of Coronavirus.

While Nitish Kumar had hinted at Kishor’s hand behind Paswan’s move to split from the NDA – hurting his party’s campaign on 32 seats, Paswan himself denied this. Since then RJD had sent multiple feelers to Kishor to join them, but Kishor never responded.
