US Expert Ian Bremmer Joins Prashant Kishore in Predicting BJP Victory in 2024

Election strategist and political expert Prashant Kishor recently made headlines after his prediction about BJP’s victory in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in 2024. During an interview with NDTV, he said that the BJP would win the elections and Narendra Modi would form the government again with the majority.

After this, a debate broke out in Indian politics and Kishor got trolled but recently an American political expert Ian Bremmer has also made the same prediction. The US expert said the ruling party would likely gain its highest number of seats ever.

US political expert Ian Bremmer said that the ruling party BJP, with their alliance NDA will get around 295 to 315 seats.

Recently during an interview Prashant Kishore also said the same, he said that there is no widespread anger in public, and BJP will easily form the government with “same of slightly better numbers.”

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, the BJP came into power with 282 seats, and at that time, the NDA had 336 seats.

During the Lok Sabha election 2019, BJP received 303 seats, and the alliance NDA crossed the 350 mark.

This year BJP is hoping and promoting its agenda for 370+ seats in the elections, they are expected to get good support from West Bengal, Northern and Western states. They are also looking for more from Telangana, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu.

US political expert said , “Modi is almost certainly going to win a third term on the back of pretty strong economic performance and consistent reform (and) that, in the grand scheme, is a very stabilizing message.”

Ian Bremmer also highlighted that India is on track to become the world’s fourth-largest economy next year, and could become the third-largest by 2028.

He further said that amidst the changes, Indian elections are the only thing which is stable and consistent.

During the talk about challenges, he highlighted issues like wars, US-China relations, geopolitical issues, etc.
