PM Narendra Modi is going to dedicate to the country 3 National Ayush institutes including AIIA Satellite Centre on 11st December in Goa.
On December 11, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate three national Ayush institutes to the country:
According to Union Ayush Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, these institutes would provide inexpensive Ayush services for a bigger community as well as further improve research and international cooperation.
In his remarks to the media, Sonowal also provided information about the 9th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC), which will take place in Panjim, Goa, and highlight the strength, efficacy, and scientific validity of the Ayush System of Medicines on a global scale.
According to him, the creation of these institutes is consistent with the prime minister’s aim for the development of infrastructure, human resources, and the encouragement of research in conventional medical systems.
According to him, these three institutions will add 550 additional beds in addition to 400 more seats for students in UG, PG, and doctorate programmes.
The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa, will offer the best resources for undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral programmes in teaching and patient care services using the Ayurvedic medical system.
According to Sonowal, it will be transformed into an Ayurvedic wellness center that promotes Medical Value Travel (MVT) and serves as a role model for cross-national academic and research collaboration.
He claimed that the National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Delhi, is the first institution of its sort to be founded in northern India for the purpose of advancing the homeopathic system of medicine and offering healthcare services.
He continued, “It will aim to mainstream and combine Ayush healthcare services with contemporary medications and boost research and development to emerge into a national institute of repute.”
A satellite location of the current National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore, will be the National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Ghaziabad.
According to the minister, it will be the first facility of its kind in Northern India and serve patients from Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and other Indian states as well as foreigners covered by MVT.
