PM Narendra Modi Turns 74, A Five-Year Review of Events and Initiatives

Today is September 17, Indian Hindu community is celebrating Vishwakarma Puja, but today is also our Hon’ble, beloving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Today PM Modi will celebrate his 74th birthday. As leaders across the nation including President Droupadi Murmu extend their best wishes, the Bharatiya Janata Party has organized the “Seva Parv” initiative. This nationwide campaign includes blood donation camps and cleanliness drives to mark the occasion.

President of India Droupadi Murmu shared a post on her official platform X in which she congratulated the Prime Minister, stating, “On the strength of your personality and work, you have provided extraordinary leadership and increased the prosperity and prestige of the country. I wish that your innovative efforts pave the way to make India a developed nation.”

To commemorate his 74th birthday PM Modi will inaugurate 26 lakh houses built under the PM Awas Yojana in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He is also set to interact with beneficiaries at the Gadakana slum and later launch the Subhadra Yojana at Janata Maidan.

How PM Modi Celebrated His Birthdays Over the Years:

2023PM Modi launched the PM Vishwakarma Yojana to promote skill development among artisans and craftsmen. He also inaugurated the India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC) and extended the Delhi Airport Express line. In his Varanasi constituency, a 73kg ladoo was cut to mark his 73rd birthday.
2019Modi celebrated near the Statue of Unity in Kevadiya, Gujarat, where he addressed a large gathering. The “Namami Narmada” festival was also observed to celebrate the Narmada Dam reaching its full capacity.
2022Modi released eight cheetahs into Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh, as part of the Cheetah Reintroduction Project. He also personally clicked photos of the animals after their release.
2021In the midst of the Covid19 pandemic, a record 2.26 crore vaccines were administered in a single day as part of efforts to tackle the virus.
2020Celebrations were muted due to the ongoing pandemic. The BJP organized the “Sewa Saptah” initiative, which included ration distribution and blood donation camps across the country.
