PM Modi stated, “I’m looking forward to meeting President Macron and having in-depth discussions about continuing this enduring and tried-and-true partnership over the next 25 years.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that he is confident that his trip to France will give the two countries’ strategic partnership a new boost. He also said that he is looking forward to having extensive discussions with President Emmanuel Macron about how to move this decades-old relationship forward over the next 25 years.
In his statement before leaving, Modi noted that his trip to France was particularly noteworthy because, as the Guest of Honour, he would be attending the Bastille Day celebrations in Paris alongside President Macron.
According to him, the Indian Air Force will fly past while an Indian tri-services contingent will participate in the Bastille Day Parade.
Noting that our strategic alliance has been in existence for 25 years this year. According to Modi, the two nations collaborate closely in a variety of fields, such as defence, space, civil nuclear, the blue economy, trade, investment, education, culture, and people-to-people ties.
He continued, “We also collaborate on regional and international issues.
I’m excited to meet President Macron and have in-depth conversations about how to move this enduring and tried-and-true partnership forward over the coming 25 years, Modi said.
The prime minister noted that since his last official visit to France in 2022, he has had several opportunities to meet President Macron, most recently in Hiroshima, Japan in May 2023 during the G-7 Summit.
I look forward to meeting French leaders like Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, Senate President Gerard Larcher, and National Assembly President Yael Braun-Pivet.
Modi said that while in France, he will have the chance to meet prominent CEOs from both countries as well as prominent members of the vibrant Indian community.
