PM Modi Visits UAE To Strengthen Bilateral Relations

PM Modi is on a visit to the UAE after the G7 summit. The UAE President came to Airport to receive Modi. Here are the 5 major purposes & goals of this trip.

Today, PM Modi arrived in the UAE in order to enhance bilateral relations as well as to join the Middle Eastern Quad. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently in the United Arab Emirates on a daylong visit after attending the G7 Summit in Germany.

So that Modi would not have to go all the way to the city, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and members of the Royal family traveled all the way to the airport to meet and speak with Modi.

The government stated in a statement that the PM expressed Al Nahyan and his family his sincere sympathies and congratulated him on becoming the 3rd president of the UAE and ruler of Abu Dhabi.

UAE Trip After G7 Summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Germany to attend the G7 summit. After that he visited the UAE where he will spend a day on 29th June. He met with the UAE president & his royal family members.

5 Major Purposes of PM Modi’s Visit to UAE

1. Bilateral Relations

PM Modi’s visit to the UAE is primarily intended to improve bilateral ties between the two nations.

2. Small Conflicts

This visit is also important is to fill the misunderstanding gaps of prophet Muhammad statements as well as trading conflicts of petroleum products.

3. Trading or Business

The business ties between the two countries will be stronger and deeper following this visit. Both countries can import and export a wide variety of resources. Thus it’s a win-win situation for both countries.

4. Indian Community

PM Modi will also meet with the Indian community residing in the UAE. Indians play a major role in the development of Emirates.

5. Middle Eastern Squad

There is one more primary focus of this international trip. India’s Prime Minister is also going to join the Middle Eastern Squad.

Largest Community in the UAE

The Indian community is the largest community in the UAE. PM Modi is also going to meet & address them.

Indians hold several key positions in the Emirates, including those of doctors, nurses, businesspeople, and engineers working in the field of information networks, and several others.

The Import-Export Relations

Strong and long-standing trade ties have existed between India and the UAE for many years. the historical exchange of goods between India and the United Arab Emirates, beginning with the trade in spices and pearls and continuing to the present.

Since 2017, the UAE has been a significant strategic partner for India and its third-largest commercial partner. Relationships that go back more than a thousand years are now virtually legendary.

Nearly all sectors of trade between the two nations are involved, including migration, economy, energy, food security, business, counterterrorism, and defense and security.

I2U2 – Middle Eastern Quad

In mid-July, India, Israel, the US, and the UAE are going to participate with the US in the I2U2 summit. It is also known as the Middle Eastern Quad. India is a country which has good relations with Iran, Israel, US as well as UAE.

I2 stands for India and Israel, similarly U2 stands for the UAE and the US. As already said, I2U2 is also known as the Middle Eastern Quad.

This economic alliance was largely proposed by the US to offset China’s expanding influence in the Middle East at the exact moment that it is withdrawing from the region in order to focus on the Asia-Pacific and challenge Chinese dominance there. India holds a rather distinct position in the midst of all of this.
