PM Modi Visit to Kargil War Memorial

Today on 26 July 2024, on the occasion of 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas 2024 Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Kargil War Memorial to honour the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. On this visit PM Modi will initiate the Shinkun La Tunnel Project virtually. This project is aimed to enhance connectivity to Leh, particularly in adverse weather conditions.

In his statement, PM Modi emphasized the significance of this day, noting, “We will mark the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas. It is a day to pay homage to all those who protect our nation.”

Rahul Gandhi to Appear Before Court in Defamation Case

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is set to appear in the MP-MLA court in Lucknow for a defamation case on July 26. The case, filed by BJP leader Vijay Mishra in 2018, revolves around Gandhi’s comments about then BJP president Amit Shah. Gandhi will arrive at Lucknow airport at 9 am before heading to Sultanpur for the hearing.

Celine Dion to Perform at 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony

Grammy-winning artist Celine Dion will perform at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 26. This will be her first performance since revealing her battle with stiff-person syndrome in 2022. She is a well-known performer , she gained a lot of popularity with the song “My Heart Will Go On.”

Mailiao Port Operations will Start in Taiwan

Formosa Petrochemical Corp of Taiwan plans to resume operations at its Mailiao refinery port on July 26, 2024. This port was closed due to Typhoon Gemi. It will reopen at 0600 local time. The opening of the site is happening after the confirmation and after opening we are hoping for smooth procedure.
