PM Modi is in Madhya Pradesh, A Vision 2024

Mission 24 was started by PM Modi from Madhya Pradesh. Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of many construction works here.

In the Sagar district, where he will also deliver a speech to the general public, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will formally lay the cornerstone for a 100-crore temple honoring social reformer Sant Ravidas. Notably, this will be PM Modi’s second trip to the state of Madhya Pradesh in a little more than a month.

Arvind Bhadoria, MP Cooperative, and Public Services Minister confirmed this information in an interview with PTI. The museum foundation plan is expected to cost $100 crore.

After that, according to Bhadoria, who also serves as the guardian minister for the Sagar district in northeastern Madhya Pradesh, PM Modi arrived at the location of the public gathering, which was about 20 kilometers from Badtuma and close to the Dhana airstrip.

It is important to note that the Sant Ravidas temple dedication ceremony and the rally for the Prime Minister, which are both being hosted by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), are expected to draw up to 2 lakh people. Sant Ravidas is well-liked across the country, particularly among some Dalits.

The two programs also represent the conclusion of the ongoing “Samrasta (harmony) Yatras” of the ruling party, an effort to engage Dalits before the assembly elections.

On July 25, five of these yantras departed from various locations throughout the state. The participants are bringing water from 315 water bodies, including holy rivers, and a small amount of soil from 53,000 villages. According to Bhadoria, the yatra will arrive in Sagar on August 11 in the evening.

The BJP won 18 of the 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh that are reserved for Scheduled Castes in the most recent elections, while the Congress won 17. The saffron party is attempting to expand its support among Dalits.

The BJP won 15 seats in Bundelkhand in the 2018 assembly elections, while the Congress had to compete for 9. The Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party each received one seat. The BJP won six seats and the Congress secured two in the eight-seat Sagar district in 2018.
