PM Modi Addresses 100th Episode Of ‘Mann Ki Baat’

PM hailed grassroots change-makers amidst a first-ever approach by Indian govt & BJP to UN and Indian posts overseas, party offices, and Raj Bhawans nationwide.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the 100th episode of his monthly radio program “Mann ki Baat”. He reflected on the program’s journey since its start in 2014, describing it as a spiritual journey and offering to God. 

The program has become a platform for grassroots change-makers across India. The episode marked a historic moment for India as it reached out to the UN, Indian missions abroad, party offices, and Raj Bhawans across the country. 

Top BJP leaders, including Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah, listened to the program from various locations in India and abroad.

The PM remembered the start of “Mann ki Baat” in 2014 as a way to connect with the common man. He initially felt hesitant hosting the programme, but it became an enriching experience for him. 

The PM praised the listeners for making “Mann ki Baat” a success and enabling a two-way dialogue between the government and the people.

The 100th episode of “Mann ki Baat” showcased stories of ordinary citizens bringing about change in their communities. 

The episode had an unprecedented outreach to the UN, Indian missions abroad, party offices, and Raj Bhawans across India. It was broadcast from the Trusteeship Council Chamber at the UN headquarters and most Indian missions abroad also aired it. 

The PM’s address was widely shared on social media, with several Ambassadors posting pictures of themselves listening to “Mann ki Baat”. 

BJP leaders from various locations also tuned in to the radio programme, lauding and congratulating the PM for achieving the milestone.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said through “Mann ki Baat”, Modi “crafts messages that venture into the nook and corner of the nation”, building bridges between the people and the government.
